I was in charge with our brand new solution for an online Healthcare project – Alensa Online. The CEO trusted me the all the decisions in all software and hardware technology that were imposed by the architectural changes that we thought of. I’ve been asked to overview all aspects regarding our online presence: hosting company, maintenance and updating Windows 2003 Server including setup and configuration of IIS Web server and SQL 2005 Server.

I participated in a development project that mainly customizes the data workflow through PeopleSoft implementation in manufacture. The goal of it was to improve the workflow of the production process by combining the needs of different regional subsidiaries into larger orders which can reside in a much lower price per unit.
When I started working with Novensys, the first challenge appeared: being the first company that implemented Navision in Romania, they were exigent from the employment process. They also offered specialization classes in Microsoft Navision product, so I and the rest of the team were trained by with a Microsoft Navision specialist for two weeks.
Predator is a project engineered by me and later on in team in Softwise Development company to be a interface between Yahoo Groups site and the home user, giving to every one of these groups the ability to do almost anything that they can do directly at Yahoo. So, as Project manager, I have designed a solution, keeping in mind the possible evolution of this enterprise. I was using a system of managing clients and suppliers, the available furniture, the accounting in/out documents. This application was designed to be simple, to be used efficiently, fast and reliable by people who didn’t had any programmatically skills, in a fast and reliable application.
Very technical project, using numerous tables from a database to estimate the average growth of a number of forests. I developed this application having given by the client the tree characteristics (maximum age, average growth per year, indexes of growth etc) and the activities that must be done periodically to ensure the best efficiency.
Data security is the priority of this program, mainly used for sending important data trough unsecured mediums - like internet or e-mail. The program uses state of the art algorithms in crypting area (MD5, RSA algorithms with crypting on different key sizes).
I was a key member in the team developing the Charisma Business Commander product,, being implemented by six of the largest companies in this complex activity sector in Romania. Tens of thousands of daily transactions carried out all over the country are achieved with through this application who manages their warehouses.
The program parses web pages from Romanian National Bank site (www.bnr.ro), offering the latest currency ratings, among with a currency calculator, a very useful converter.
Softwise is my soul company, the company that shaped me as developer. In the last six months of his employment, I was trusted with the responsibility to manage several projects to completion in budget and timely manner, being advanced to project manager.
Starting today, I work as a Student Helper in Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology. The branch from Sankt Augustin, which I joined, is focused on the research of human-centered computing in a process context. I will activate in the Cooperation and Community Support department, which deals with the research and development of community portals, (mobile) communities and cooperation, Internet-based groupware, cooperative knowledge management, application service providing for cooperative work and virtual teams, rating and recommender systems and cooperative learning environments.
